Our department offers comprehensive programs that blend academic theory with

Chairman's Message
Bangladesh University of Business and Technology (BUBT) is one of the major top ranking private universities for providing higher education in Bangladesh. This university is mainly devoted to spread education to the door steps of every people. The campus of this university is located at the northern area of the capital city Dhaka, known as Mirpur-2.
At present Department of Management is offering the courses of BBA Program under the Faculty of Business. The main objective of the department is to provide professional knowledge and skills in Management in order to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of managerial manpower in business and non-business organizations to face the emerging challenges in the competitive world of the new millennium.
The department offers four-year BBA and two-year MBA programs at graduate and post-graduate levels. The department offers an enjoyable teaching-learning environment, which has been made possible for the availability of some unique physical and related facilities.
The department has fully air-conditioned spacious classrooms in a serene natural environment with adequate lighting, in-built microphone system, sophisticated overhead and multimedia projectors for visual presentation using computers. It has also fully air-conditioned and well-decorated meeting room and department office. It has well-furnished rooms for faculty members with internet connection for individual use, and a common specialized library rich in latest-edition books.
Department of Management has been involved in organizing `management development programs for the senior, mid-level and operating level executives of various public and private sector organizations. The department has 26 fulltime faculty members and a significant number of faculty members are on the study leave at different universities in different countries like America, Canada, etc. The department has an effective team of highly qualified academicians. In the age of globalization it is not enough to have only theoretical knowledge but it is also very much necessary to have practical knowledge. To fulfill this purpose the department arranges internship attachment at the last semester of BBA and MBA. The department arranges different seminars and symposiums almost in every semester. The department is always trying to make effective and efficient leaders in corporate and social fields.
