Mr. Md. Romzan Alom has been serving as a Research Assistant and Research Officer at the Faculty of BUBT Research Graduate School (BUBT-RGS), Bangladesh University of Business and Technology (BUBT), since January 2026. Prior to this role, he worked as a Lecturer in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) at BUBT from October 2025 to December 2025. Before joining BUBT, he served as a Lecturer (Lab Courses) in the Department of CSE at Green University of Bangladesh (GUB) from March 2024 to September 2025. With more than two years of combined experience in academia and research, Mr. Alom has developed a strong foundation in teaching, scientific research, and academic collaboration. He is currently pursuing an M.Sc. in CSE at Jagannath University and earned his B.Sc. in CSE from GUB in 2023. His research interests encompass explainable artificial intelligence (XAI), machine learning, computer vision, medical image analysis, and theory of optimization. He has authored and co-authored several research articles published in prestigious and reputable peer-reviewed international journals and conference proceedings, including high-impact and top-ranked journals, as well as IEEE conference publications. In addition to his research activities, he actively serves as a reviewer for several international journals and conferences in the fields of artificial intelligence, machine learning, and computer science. Mr. Alom has received several academic honors and distinctions in recognition of his outstanding performance and research contributions, including the Dean’s Award, Vice Chancellor’s Award, Best Poster Award, and Outstanding Paper Presenter Award. Through his dedication to teaching, research, and scholarly excellence, he continues to contribute to the advancement of knowledge in computer science and artificial intelligence.
