The Faculty of Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence at Bangladesh University of Business and Technology (BUBT), in collaboration with the PSAC Committee, CSE, successfully organized an academic workshop titled "Workshop on OBE Documentation and CO-PO Attainment Practices." Held at the International Conference Hall (ICH), the session brought together faculty members and academic personnel to align institutional practices with global education standards.
Dr. Muhammad Aminur Rahman, Associate Professor & Dean of the Faculty of Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence, graced the event as the Keynote Speaker. In his address, Dr. Rahman emphasized the core principles of Outcome-Based Education (OBE) and provided critical insights into integrating modern pedagogical Frameworks into the university's curriculum structure.
The hands-on workshop focused extensively on the preparation and systematic maintenance of course files, alongside practical approaches to building structured Excel sheets for precise Course Outcome (CO) and Program Outcome (PO) attainment calculations. Furthermore, a highly collaborative discussion was held regarding the strategic modification and continuous improvement of Course Outcomes (COs) to better suit industry requirements.
This technical session marks a significant step forward in streamlining academic documentation and elevating the university's educational framework. By fostering faculty development and ensuring rigorous adherence to OBE standards, the initiative reinforces BUBT's ongoing commitment to delivering top-tier technical and structured education.
