Webinar on Resourcing Legal Aid in Bangladesh: Barriers and Solutions

On 17th February, 2021 a successful webinar on "Resourcing Legal Aid in Bangladesh: Barriers and Solution" has jointly organized by Increasing Access to Justice in Bangladesh Program & Department of Law and Justice, BUBT. The Program was implemented by National Center for State Courts (NCSC) and Supported by U.S. Department of State. Opening Remarks was conveyed by: Mr. Dr. Sheikh Golam Mahbub, Deputy Secretary (Admiration 1), Law & Justice Division. The Key Note Speaker of the Program was Mr. Jashim Uddin, Joint District Judge & Head of Legal Affairs, Chittagong City Corporation, Chittagong. More than 50 students of Dept' of Law and Justice and faculty members have participated in the program. The students’ participation was noticeable in the question session of the program. The closing speech was delivered by Prof. Dr. Syed Sarfaraj Hamid, Dean, Faculty of Law & Chairman, and Department of Law & Justice which was informative and resourceful.
