Sourav Debnath, he is currently serving as a Lecturer in the department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering at Bangladesh University of Business and Technology (BUBT) since Jan 2024, where he plays a vital role in teaching with active research, accreditation readiness, and strategic planning. He has successfully supervised an enormous number of undergraduate thesis and projects, many of which have published in IEEE Conferences. He completed his undergraduate degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering at Chittagong University of Engineering and Technology (CUET) with a remarkable result, ranking 5th in his cohort. His undergraduate thesis focused on the design of a grid-connected hybrid renewable energy system that combined solar, wind, biomass, and wave resources to electrify a zone of Bangladesh. Currently he is pursuing MSc in the department of Biomedical Physics and Technology at University of Dhaka. At present, His research focuses on biomedical image and signal processing and also renewable energy system.
