Prof. Dr. Ahmed Al Mansur is an accomplished academic and researcher currently serving as a Professor in the Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering (EEE) at the Bangladesh University of Business and Technology (BUBT). With over 15 years of experience in academia and research, he has established himself as a prominent figure in Renewable Energy Systems, particularly in photovoltaic (PV) array optimization and performance analysis. Dr. Mansur holds a Ph.D. in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from the Islamic University of Technology (IUT), where he achieved a perfect 4.0 CGPA. His extensive administrative leadership includes roles as the Director of the Centre for Research Innovation and Transformation (CRIT) and the Center for International Affairs at Green University of Bangladesh (GUB). He is recognized as an IEEE Senior Member (SMIEEE). He has actively contributed to the professional community as a TPC Co-Chair for the STI Conference 2025 and an Educational Activities Coordinator for the IEEE PES SC-Bangladesh Section. As a prolific researcher, Dr. Mansur has secured numerous government-funded and international research grants from organizations such as the ICT Division and the Ministry of Science and Technology (MOST). His research has led to the development of a patented Indoor Testing System for Solar PV modules and to significant contributions to the literature, with numerous publications in high-impact journals such as Energy Reports, Sustainability, and Energies. He has been honored with multiple awards, including Silver Medals at the Research Innovation Commercialization & Entrepreneurship Showcase (RICES) 2021 and several Research Excellence Awards for his contributions to sustainable energy management. His expertise encompasses Power Electronics, Optimization Algorithms, and the development of specialized laboratory facilities for renewable energy research.
